# Offers API

> Show offers in your own interface with an API placement.

An API placement lets you fetch offers and show them in your own interface instead of the hosted offerwall, for example as native screens in your app.

## What already works

* **API placements**: choose the type **API** when you [create a placement](/offerwall/placements). Its card shows an API key that starts with `ofz_live_`. Keep the key on your server.
* **Postbacks**: crediting works exactly as with the hosted offerwall, including [signatures](/postbacks/security) and [reversals](/postbacks/reversals).
* **Currency**: rewards use the placement's [exchange rate and boost events](/offerwall/currency).

  Want to launch sooner? Start with the [hosted offerwall](/offerwall/website). It's fully branded with your currency, and your postback endpoint will work unchanged when you move to the API.
