# Offer links

> Send a user straight to one offer, without opening the offerwall.

An offer link opens one offer directly for one of your users. Use it where a whole offerwall doesn't fit: a message or an email to a user, a banner, or your own "Featured offer" button.

```text theme={null}
https://track.offerzy.io/click?offer_id={OFFER_ID}&user_id={USER_ID}&placement_id={public_key}
```

## Get a link

**1. Pick the offer**

In the dashboard, open **Offers**, click an offer, then **Get offer link**.

**2. Choose the placement and the user**

Choose the placement whose currency, rewards and postback apply. Keep `{USER_ID}` to put in each user's ID yourself, or enter one user's ID. Add sub IDs if you use them.

**3. Copy the link**

Click **Copy link**, then replace `{USER_ID}` with the user's ID wherever you show it.

A link is made of nothing but its parameters, so you can also build it yourself, for example in your server code. Nothing has to be created in the dashboard first.

## Parameters

**offer\_id** `string` *required*

The offer's ID. Copy it from the offer's details on the **Offers** page.

**user\_id** `string` *required*

Your ID for the user, up to 100 characters, as on the [offerwall link](https://documentation.offerzy.io/offerwall/website.md). Every postback sends it back. A link that still says `{USER_ID}` doesn't start the offer.

**placement\_id** `string` *required*

The placement's public key, starting with `ofz_live_`. Its currency, rewards and postback apply, and it has to be **Live**.

**sub1** `string`

Optional, `sub1` to `sub5`: values of your own, as on the offerwall link. They come back in the postback and in your reports. Up to 255 characters each.

## What your users see

* The offer opens straight away when it's available in the user's country and on their device: the same rules as on the offerwall.
* Otherwise they get a short page saying why, for example that the offer isn't available in their country.
* Opening the link again takes the user back to the same offer.

Conversions are credited through your [postback](https://documentation.offerzy.io/postbacks/overview.md), exactly like offers started from the offerwall.

> Sharing a link in a chat app? The preview the app makes of it doesn't count as a click. Only people who open it do.
